Executive coaching involves a series of phases, starting with an initial assessment, goal setting, and development planning, and then progressing through the development plan. Regardless of where you are in the coaching relationship, the agenda for each coaching session is always set by you.
To achieve maximum benefit from a coaching relationship and to get into positive habits, we suggest that sessions be initially scheduled weekly. Coaching sessions generally last about 60-90 minutes. As the relationship progresses, the time between sessions can be lengthened. An average duration of a coaching engagement is 7 to 12 months.
